Soak nails in warm water with a little body oil for 10 minutes to loosen the glue.
Use a toothpick or cuticle pusher to gently lift the nail away, starting from the sidewalls and working toward the center.
Alternatively, saturate the cuticles and sidewalls with oil. Take a strand of dental floss, hook it under the edge of the nail, and work it back and forth gradually. (I like to use floss picks for this.) Combine this with the toothpick method for stubborn glue.
Use either a polish remover soak or filing and buffing to remove the remaining residue.
