- Use a cuticle pusher around the edges of your natural nail to gently push back the cuticle and lightly scrape away dead skin.
There should be a slight gap between the cuticle and nail plate.
- Use nail clippers to trim natural nails short, and file to remove rough edges and create a clean shape.
- With the fine grit (usually 180) side of the nail file lightly buff the natural nail to remove the shine.
DO NOT USE THE ROUGHER SIDE OR USE HEAVY PRESSURE
- Wash and dry hands and nails thoroughly, ensuring the natural nails are completely dry.
- Apply your favorite dehydrating solution, or use regular nail polish remover.
- Apply 2 coats of your favorite UV/LED or airdry basecoat.
- Align your nail set so that all 10 are in order and easy to pick up.
- Using your favorite airdry nail glue, apply a thin layer to the whole nail plate. Apply a small blob of glue to the cuticle edge of the press-on, as well.
- Place the nail at the top of the nail plate and lightly slide the edge under the cuticle before pressing the whole structure down firmly.
Use two fingers to press down the sidewalls to ensure 360 adhesion.
Most airdry glues cure between 10 and 30 seconds, so be patient.
If the nail lifts in the first 60 seconds and the glue is still wet, add another drop to the nail plate and reapply.
DO NOT USE UV/LED PRODUCTS FOR APPLICATION, AS THEY WILL NOT CURE PROPERLY
- Apply cuticle oil around the nail to complete the set.
- Avoid hot water or strenuous activity until glue has fully cured.
